Looking for a quick and easy game that works for anybody and focuses on rewarding good play?

Try “The Simple Game”.  Here’s how:

Pick an amount for each player to contribute to “The Pot”.

Players get 4 points for having a drive in the fairway or on the green for par threes.

Then deduct the number of putts on each hole.  Accumulate each players points throughout the round.  The person with the most points at the end of the game wins “The Pot”.

For example:

FIRST HOLE

• Player A drives in the fairway and is awarded 4 points.  They then 2 putt leaving them with 2 points.
• Player B misses the fairway and is awarded -0- points.  After a 2 putt they take -2 points to the next hole.
• Player C hits the fairway and proceeds to 3 putt for a net 1 point on the hole.
• Player D hits the fairway, misses the green on approach and then chips in.  They get the full 4 points.

And so on for each hole…..

OPTIONS:

1. Place a point value instead of a Pot and calculate the balances at the end of the round.
2. Add another 4 points for Greens in Regulation.
